Theodore Roosevelt was one of the first naturalist presidents. He created the first national parks. He was also one of the first presidents to realize that the United States had become a powerful nation. He went on many wilderness adventures. His final Presidential Run would take place because his Secretary of the Interior would bring him news about something Taft was doing during one of his excursions. The spirit of Roosevelt may not live on in the Presidents, but it still lives on in the hearts and minds of the American people. His sense of Rugged Individualism remains popular with the American people. There are still many people who love the Wilderness and will take every chance they can to return to it.
There are number of ways a person can engage in wilderness trips. One of the simplest things for a person to do is to go on a hike. A hike does not take a lot of planning. There are thousands of state parks across the United States that will help a person begin his trek. A hiker should take along a canteen. He may need a walking stick. He often needs little else to complete his journey. If he plans on venturing far from the park trail, he may want to have a compass or a global positioning system with him. He may also want to take a cell phone along with him in case of an emergency.
There are other types of wildness field trips that an enthusiast may choose to engage in Hay Day. An outdoors type may decide to carry the idea one step further by going backpacking. People who do not want to hike may decide to go kayaking, rafting or canoeing. These trips that go over creeks and rivers take several days. People on the trip often camp along the shores when they stop for the night.
Other wilderness ventures take modern technology like a Hay Day hack into the more primitive environments. Off-roading events take place all over the country. People take four wheelers, dirt bikes and even jeeps along the rougher roads. These roads are not paved. They give someone the perfect challenge to test his control of the vehicle. The people who participate in these activities know the importance of using the appropriate safety gear. They will never go into one of these activities without helmets and knee pads. A few people might wear shorts on the warmer days of the year.
